People appreciating ecological lifestyle are welcome to join Mauri Kin’s domains eco village located in Võru County, Rõuge municipality. Our aim is to create sustainable homesteads in harmony with the nature and responsible attitude towards the whole life. The aim of the village is to strive for the greatest possible self-sufficiency and independence and to provide sustainable and viable solutions to various social and global challenges. The idea of ​​village life is based on the idea of ​​Vladimir Megre's book series "Ringing Cedars of Russia".

The planned village area (ca 43 ha) has forest, several larger ponds, marshy areas, hills and orcs. Due to the specific nature of the landscape up to 14 households could be located there. The size of one homestead is currently 1 to 2 hectares. At the moment, the financial contributions of each of the households is € 15,000. We offer an option to pay for joining the village in installments for up to 4 years.

In terms of location, it is a splendid place with wonderful nature. Mauri village, surrounded by forests and swamps, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Kirikumäe Landscape Reserve. The protected area offers the opportunity to hike along two marked nature trails, from which you can pick up blueberries, cranberries and other forest products. Nearby are the Tsiistre Village House and the Flax Museum, next to the Misso Pullijärv recreation area, and Siksälä hills on the shores of Lake Hino. The nearest shops are located in Vastseliina and Misso. For those arriving by bus, choose Vastseliina as the destination.
